It may not feature a traditional super-aerodynamic look, but the Celera 500L sports a "bullet" design that Otto Aviation says is the future of fuel-efficient, small commercial plane flight. Boasting 18 to 25 mpg and a range of over 4,500 nautical miles, the six-passenger plane prototype already has 31 successful test flights under its belt.

On April 5, 2020, Tesla showed the world the first prototype of the ventilator design it was working on to help with the shortage of medical equipment in the fight against COVID-19. Tesla engineering used several parts from its electric car lineup to create the artificial breathing device, including the Model 3 infotainment computer system and screen, the air mixing chamber, sensors, and vehicle controllers. The Tesla system is portable and even comes with an extra battery and O2 backup that lasts for 20 to 40 minutes.

Impossible to loosen unintentionally? Nord-Lock washers
Can you get a design edge with a wedge? In this animated video, Nord-Lock explains the principle behind their original wedge-locking technology, which secures bolted joints even when exposed to severe vibration and dynamic loads. The company says it is impossible for this type of washer to loosen unintentionally, due to the wedge created underneath the bolt head and nut.
