How the special sound on F1 cars was made
A YouTuber in Germany who goes by the name of Maisteer says he has discovered the mechanics behind the unique, high-pitched squeal of the exhaust of Formula 1 naturally aspirated V8 car engines from 1997 to 2014. After many years of investigation and trial and error, he says he has cracked the code. Could it be simply the headers and their firing sequence? There's more to it than that. What made that unique sound?
