| Wings: NASA to test in-flight folding Spanwise Adaptive Wing concept NASA is developing and validating a system that will allow part of an aircraft's wing to fold in flight. The aim is to test the feasibility of increasing efficiency through wing adaptation. The concept would permit the outboard portions of the wings to move to the optimal position during operation, which could potentially result in an increase in efficiency by reducing drag and increasing lift and performance.

| Georgia Tech study finds 'lurking malice' in cloud hosting services A study of 20 major cloud hosting services has found that as many as 10 percent of the repositories hosted by them had been compromised -- with several hundred of the "buckets" actively providing malware. Such bad content could be challenging to find, however, because it can be rapidly assembled from stored components that individually may not appear to be malicious.
